Suwelack opens up South American market
June 2007 // Billerbeck/São Paulo. After Tokyo (Japan), New York (USA) and Como (Italy), the Dr. Suwelack Skin & Health Care AG has opened up its fourth international subsidiary. From its location in São Paulo, the Suwelack Matrix systems Skin & Health Care Ltda. will target the South American market and is strongly determined to develop the business for its German parent company. "The particularities of the South American cosmetic industry necessitate a locally intensified commitment to advance and become successful", explains CEO Nikolaus Uleer.
As Managing Director Nikolaus Uleer appointed the 57 year old, native-born Brasilian Clovis Policastri. "Policastri has an amazing and rich knowledge of the Brasilian cosmetic market at his command", accentuates Nikolaus Uleer and feels confident that the South American continent will realize substantial growth in sales in the forthcoming years.
